Marygold - Helix

Bring the ferocious modern-metal sound of Periphery’s “Marigold” to your Line 6 Helix with this dedicated guitar preset. Designed for the track’s punishing low-tuned riffs, razor-tight rhythmic attack, and massive distorted tone, this preset delivers the punch, saturation, and note separation needed to tackle one of progressive metal’s most recognizable sounds.

This preset focuses on the core character of “Marigold”:

Marigold Rhythm: Aggressive, focused, and relentlessly tight. Chunky palm mutes hit with authority, intricate rhythmic patterns remain clear, and every syncopated accent cuts through the mix.

Marigold Lead: A rich, sustaining tone with added harmonic character and enough presence to stand out without losing the weight and aggression of the overall sound.

From precision chugs to soaring melodic lines, get ready for a tone built to hit hard and stay articulate. Because sometimes the only reasonable response to a riff is to make it heavier.
